Education

 

There is a simple reason why a group as the conservatives don’t want everyone to be educated is because knowledge is power. When people are actually educated and have knowledge these groups can’t lie to people and have them get believed and then they can’t control the masses. Politicians have forgotten that they work for the people, they think they are the masters and we are the thralls.  What the public needs the most is support for the education system from kindergarten - Junior College.

Teachers should not have to buy their own supplies for the class, that should be the Department of Education’s job, along with the teachers getting a good pay. We pay our politicians and sports players more for doing less, than our teachers who along with educating our children also watch them for nine hours a day five days a week.

We need knowledge for everyone because without it we lose all hope of humanity surviving. Remember corruption controls our learning. At this moment we have a government that would rather pray then believe in science to help all its people.

Our schools need to be top priority that means they have to be the most important above all else in our country, and yes knowledge also refers to the trade schools, because if you didn’t have the knowledge how would you learn to be a trades person.

Some conservatives complain that religion needs to be in schools, but that is not fair to the others because the conservatives would want only their religion in their schools (that’s for another blog). Public schools should not any form of religion in there, if you want your child to learn religion in school put them in to a private religious school it’s that simple.

Knowledge in the form of education needs to stay for everyone. Schools K-12 need to be free for all children including school lunches. Then Junior / Community Colleges along with State schools should also be free to citizens in that state.  Then Out of State schools or Elite style Universities should be paid through scholarships, and grants. No student should have to go into debt because they want to make a better life for themselves with a better education. Even trade schools’ cost, and if you can’t afford the college or trade school, then what its not like Rich Corporations want to pay any one an actual living wage.  Everyone no matter what financial lifestyle you have come from should be granted an education. Education is not just for the selected but for the whole of civilization. Conservatives will stop at nothing to make education only for the rich , if you don’t believe me take a look at the Secretary of Education that has no teaching experience, and promotes private/charter schools that only allow people with money to get an education.

Last the Secretary of Education for the Citizens of the United States should be a Teacher/ Principal and or the Superintendent of a school district. Not some rich ass old person that paid for their position with a “Donation” to the president, who in turn should be working for every single person, and not a special group or as a Cult leader.
