There is a lot to be said about sex in the modern day, and that is thanks to the internet and to social media. This is a good thing for we are more aware of the dangers and the adventures of being a free sexual being.

The new sexual liberation has brought more awareness of who we are as adults and what we want for ourselves and our partners. There are more places to get sex toys and clothes then there ever has been, hell we are even able to give older men erections. Nudity is not that taboo anymore to an average person in the United States, at least one out of three people have nude photos of themselves, their partners or a amateur sex video that they posted online somewhere. Some cities have amateur porn contest that are sponsored by one of the many underground Newspapers.

Don’t forget the AVN Awards (ww.avn.com/awards) which deals with professional Adult Films, but now has a category that judges Cam Models and Cam Channels on the web. The world has changed drastically because of the internet, more and more social media sites are created to deal with Sexual Fetishes and interest. Most people don’t run when they hear the world sex anymore, we have slowly moved away from out Puritans thoughts that sex is bad and that no one does it. Even though we haven’t completely gotten rid of our closed minded Puritan roots, but they are starting to fade from our lives, because people don’t want to be  in the dark about what makes their partner happy  and keep the relationship working.

The new sexual revolution has become mainstream, that adult shops such Lover, Hustler Hollywood are in what would be considered normal conservative style neighbourhoods. Even the malls and local shops may have a small adult are to purchase items to spice up you sex life with your partner or by yourself.  There are still some people scared, they are the ones who don’t like change and want to control other people by keeping sex a secret. They also don’t like freedom of the sexual millennium where it is openly talked about in regular conversations.

Dating in the modern world can owe itself to technology, as much as gender politics, has transformed dating. Apps such as Tinder have allowed people to pick through hundreds of strangers from the comfort of their sofas, but they have also reduced accountability. It was hard for the boy who sat next to you in lectures every day to vanish without explanation if an approach backfired, but Tinder matches can do just that. As such, breathtakingly blunt messages, aggressive responses to rejections and unsolicited “dick pics”

With many couples leading quietly conventional lives, hook-up culture and polyamory and other supposedly hot millennial trends are far more common than one would think.

One last thing don’t forget that we have quite a bit sexuality during Spring Break in America, where people tend to just have many one night stands and then go back home to their other life. People have to admit it even if they don’t want to that sex is all around us.
